Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that circumstances can change. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains when refunds are available for Root Cause Institute courses, training programs, sessions and mentorship services.
Please review the policy that applies to your purchase before enrolling or booking.
Except where otherwise stated, all refunds are issued to the original method of payment.
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any refund, cancellation or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable law.
ROOT CAUSE COURSE LEVEL 1 — RECORDED COURSE
A $500 USD non-refundable registration fee is included in the purchase price of the Level 1 Recorded Course.
You may cancel your enrollment and receive a refund of the amount you paid minus the $500 registration fee if both of the following conditions are met:
You request cancellation within 14 days of enrolling; and
You have not started accessing or watching the course content.
Once you begin accessing or watching the course content, the purchase becomes non-refundable.
The purchase also becomes non-refundable once 14 days have passed from your enrollment date, whether or not you have accessed the course.
ROOT CAUSE COURSE LEVEL 1 — LIVE COURSE
A $500 USD non-refundable registration fee is included in the purchase price of the Level 1 Live Course.
You may cancel your enrollment and receive a refund of the amount you paid minus the $500 registration fee if all of the following conditions are met:
You request cancellation within 30 days of enrolling;
Your cancellation is received more than 14 days before the scheduled start of the course; and
The course has not yet begun.
If you cancel 14 days or less before the scheduled start date, no refund will be provided.
Once the live course begins, no refund will be provided.
The purchase also becomes non-refundable once 14 days have passed from your enrollment date.
ROOT CAUSE COURSE LEVEL 2 — LIVE COURSE
A $500 USD non-refundable registration fee is included in the purchase price of the Level 1 Live Course.
You may cancel your enrollment and receive a refund of the amount you paid minus the $500 registration fee if all of the following conditions are met:
You request cancellation within 30 days of enrolling;
Your cancellation is received more than 14 days before the scheduled start of the course; and
The course has not yet begun.
If you cancel 14 days or less before the scheduled start date, no refund will be provided.
Once the live course begins, no refund will be provided.
The purchase also becomes non-refundable once 14 days have passed from your enrollment date.
ACCELERATED SELF-HEALING COURSE (ASC)
A $500 USD non-refundable registration fee is included in the purchase price of the Accelerated Self-Healing Course.
You may cancel your enrollment and receive a refund of the amount you paid minus the $500 registration fee if both of the following conditions are met:
You request cancellation within 14 days of enrolling; and
You have not started accessing or watching the course content.
Once you begin accessing or watching the course content, the purchase becomes non-refundable.
The purchase also becomes non-refundable once 14 days have passed from your enrollment date, whether or not you have accessed the course.
ROOT CAUSE SESSIONS
Individual Root Cause Sessions are subject to the following cancellation policy:
Cancellation within 24 hours of booking:
You are eligible for a 100% refund.
Cancellation more than 3 days before your scheduled appointment, but more than 24 hours after making the booking:
You are eligible for a 50% refund.
Cancellation 3 days or less before your scheduled appointment:
No refund will be provided.
These cancellation terms exist because appointment times are reserved specifically for you. Late cancellations can prevent us from offering that time to another client who may be waiting for support.
MENTORSHIP
Mentorship must be paid in full before the mentorship begins.
Before mentorship has begun, the following cancellation policy applies:
Cancellation within 24 hours of purchasing/booking the mentorship:
You are eligible for a 100% refund.
Cancellation more than 3 days before the mentorship is scheduled to begin, but more than 24 hours after purchasing/booking:
You are eligible for a 50% refund.
Cancellation 3 days or less before the mentorship is scheduled to begin:
No refund will be provided.
When Mentorship Is Considered to Have Begun
Mentorship is considered to have begun once personalized mentorship services have been provided.
This includes a substantive exchange between you and Paul through Telegram or another designated communication method in which personalized questions, guidance, coaching or education related to your circumstances is provided.
Once mentorship has begun, no refunds will be provided, regardless of how much of the mentorship period remains.
These terms exist because mentorship involves reserving time and availability and may involve individualized work beginning before scheduled calls or appointments take place.
MISSED SESSIONS AND NON-PARTICIPATION
Failure to attend a scheduled live class, session, coaching call or other scheduled service does not automatically create eligibility for a refund.
Likewise, choosing not to complete or continue participating in a course or program after the applicable refund period has ended does not create eligibility for a refund.
PAYMENT PLANS
Selecting a payment plan allows you to pay the purchase price in installments. Unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase, a payment plan does not convert the purchase into a month-to-month subscription.
If the applicable refund or cancellation period has expired, withdrawing from or ceasing participation in a course or program does not cancel your obligation to pay the remaining installments of the agreed purchase price.
Any refund for a purchase made through a payment plan will be determined according to the refund terms applicable to that particular course, program or service.
HOW TO REQUEST A CANCELLATION OR REFUND
To request a cancellation or refund, please use the Message Submission Form available on the Root Cause Institute website.
Please include:
Your full name;
The email address used for your purchase;
The course, program or service you purchased; and
A brief statement that you are requesting a cancellation or refund.
The date your completed request is submitted through our Message Submission Form will be used to determine whether your request falls within the applicable cancellation or refund period.
EXCEPTIONS REQUIRED BY LAW
This policy is subject to applicable law.
Nothing in this Refund & Cancellation Policy is intended to waive or restrict a consumer right that cannot legally be waived or restricted.
