I’ve taken the time to carefully review what you shared in your questionnaire. In this recording, I’ll do my best to connect some dots and explore areas of your life and experiences that may be important for you to look at more deeply - including emotions, relationships, patterns, beliefs, and places where there may be unresolved or stuck emotional energy.
As you listen to my feedback, please remember that these are reflections, perspectives and possibilities for you to explore. Some things may resonate very strongly with you, while others may not. Please trust your own inner sense of what feels true, meaningful and relevant for you.
If something I explore brings up an experience or emotion that feels difficult to look at or feel, give yourself whatever time and space you need to sit with it, process it, and work through it at your own pace. You might use this review as a starting point for your own healing work, and then use the tools and processes throughout the ASC to begin exploring and working through what comes up for you more deeply.
I hope this review helps you potentially uncover your shadow(s), better understand some of your life experiences and see your path forward with greater clarity.
Please remember that we all have shadows (until they are healed). By “shadows,” I mean the places within ourselves where, for particular reasons, we can lose ourselves when faced with stress or challenging life experiences.
But rather than continuing to lose ourselves within these challenges, there is another possibility: we can learn to grow spiritually through them - healing what has been unresolved and, in the process, rebirthing ourselves into someone more true to who we really are, and creating a new “world” for ourselves rather than continuing to live within the one in which we lost ourselves.
That path of growth often means things like: - we become more authentic in all aspects of our lives - we become more independent and empowered in making our own choices - we become more capable of loving and looking after ourselves - we develop greater trust and faith, rather than avoiding our fears, holding on, or losing ourselves in the need to control - we become more devoted to a path of love and truth, rather than making our decisions primarily from fear or “survival” - we allow ourselves to want—and know that we deserve—an abundant life - we become willing to examine and, where it feels right, let go of parts of the life we were living around the time cancer developed, and step toward a new life of new experiences, greater freedom and aliveness. Sometimes this may involve significant changes. We may feel called to step away from parts of our old world, grieve what we are leaving behind, process the emotions connected to it, and allow a new world and new experiences to begin nourishing us in different ways.
Believe in yourself. Believe in the path of spiritual growth and positive change, and in God’s support as you genuinely choose those things. Keep moving in the direction of greater love, truth, freedom and aliveness.
Much love! Paul
